"The bees told us what they liked and we listened"
Research began by determining what the bees liked and would eat. After determining the bee's preferences, the diet formulas were scientifically enhanced step by step (letting the bees test and approve the diet).
The Diet formula was developed using sophisticated manufacturing techniques to control the variables that aid in the palatability, digestibility and delivery of the essential elements of the diet. Very tight analytical requirements and manufacturing standards were developed to ensure that the diet is uniform and superior.
Lab Tests demonstrate
- The bees preferentially liked the diet.
- The bees thrived on the diet.
- The bees lived longer.
- The bees produced more brood.
Field Tests confirm the lab tests. The unique combination of manufacturing technique, proteins, minerals, lipids, vitamins and carbohydrates provide a food source that develop colony strength, increase the longevity of adult bees and increase brood production
Higher Honey Yield
MegaBee™, the Tucson Bee Diet, offers commercial operations, queen breeders and hobbyist beekeepers an excellent tool to boost colony strength, population, brood production for a more effective pollination season and higher honey yields.

PATTY
Prepare MegaBee patties with a heavy syrup, i.e. fructose corn syrup, 50/50 blend or heavy sucrose syrup (2:1 or greater). For soft, moist patties follow the measurements in the chart below. If firmer patties are preferred, reduce the amount of liquid syrup to 1.5 lbs. of liquid per 1 pound of Megabee.
