Feeding Instructions:

Basic Hive Maintenance- Add 1 teaspoon (5ml) to quart or litre of 1:1 sugar water. Pour mixture into hive feeder. Feed when bees are taking sugar water mixture.

Stressed and Migratory Pollinators - Apply approximately 1 cup of mixed Optima solution per hive by spray or drench method to top of frames in brood box. Optima solution is 4 teaspoons (20ml) of Optima per quart or litre of 1 to 1 sugar water. Repeat treatment 4 times, 4 days apart in Spring and Fall. Feed Optima solution 2-3 times in Summer Dearth and dry periods. Protein Patty - add 1 teaspoon (5ml) per finished weight of 1 pound or 1/2 kilo protein patty.
