Supers

The beehive super or super provides the honey bees a place to store pollen and honey for the months when there is no honeyflow or pollen. The honey bees will eat thier way up the hive body to the super consuming honey and pollen for survival. We have painted and assembled supers or unassembled supres in several grades of wood. The select is the best bulk wood grade with only a few small tight knots allowed. Our commercial grade allows knots where they occur but not in joints or rabbets. The Economy grade has the same precise fit as the other two grades but layered knots or knots with splits are allowed. Everything the beekeeper needs to build his beehive and start beekeeping today.
